Wood has announced it will expand North America’s network of hydrogen pipelines.
The company is delivering concept and front-end engineering and design (FEED) studies for nearly 2,000 miles of onshore low carbon pipelines, utilising hydrogen and carbon capture.
Wood experts have designed five of the longest pipelines in the US, leading to an increase of new projects on the back of growing investment in clean energy infrastructure. Wood will expand the US’ network of hydrogen pipelines by a third, adding nearly 1,000 miles.
